She was likely living at Salem, Massachusetts by 1631, when her father had removed there from the Plymouth Colony. She was married, by 1635, to Moses Maverick, the son of Rev. John (perhaps at Salem, but not in records). Moses was in Salem by 1634, in that part of town which separated to become Marblehead in 1649, where Moses was one of its first selectmen, as well as a town clerk, and justice of the peace.
