Waldron - Ireland and Gloucester, MA

My third great grandfather Dennis Hessian was married to Mary Waldron on 25 Nov 1852 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was living there at the time, and he was already a resident of Gloucester, where they would make their home. The marriage record did not list her parents.

From the 1855 Massachusetts state census, the Hessian family is seen in Gloucester, with a Waldron family living with them. After looking into Thomas' background, it is now known that this is Mary's brother.

On 14 Sept 1857, four days after giving birth to twins, Mary passed away from an inflammation of the bowels. She was only 32 years old. Her death record would list her parents as Matthew and Ellen "Waldon", and listed her birth place as "Lanby, Ireland". In 1855, her daughter Ellen's birth record had listed the birth place as Killham, Ire, while the birth rec of daughter Mary gave Limerick, Ireland as her place of birth.

Researching into the other Waldron families of Gloucester, I found there were three other Irish-born immigrants who also had Matthew and Ellen Waldron as their parents. Two of them would list their mother as a Mahoney, and all would claim Limerick, Ireland as their birth place.

Lanby, unless first letter is an 'S' or even a 'T'. None are a match to any town in County Limerick

"Bruff, Ire" and "Killham, Ire", from the birth rec of Ellen "Heshan". Bruff is in County Limerick, but no town named Killham was found. There was a Kilflyn and a couple of other similar sounding ones.
I have checked numerous entries on passenger lists of Irish immigrants coming into Boston and New York, but have yet to find anything to give me a date of entry into this country. I was hoping they all arrived here at the same time, and would find them together on a ship's manifest, but that would have been too easy!

[3/23/14 UPDATE: Looking at the actual naturalization applications, I found that Matthew Waldron arrived in Boston on 10 June 1851, and Thomas did so on 6 Aug 1850. Neither date exactly matched that of a passenger list, but dates are close. It looks like they didn't come over with any family members.]

Below is what I have gathered so far on the four siblings who made their home in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
