My 6th Great-Grandparents, Henry Wyman and Sarah H Tuttle. They are buried in Jewett Cemetery, Madison, Maine. "A revolutionary Soldier", he served from Jan 1781 to Nov 1783 in the 3rd Massachusetts Regiment, under Col John Greaton (and later Col Mellen and Col Michael Jackson). At the time of his discharge, Henry was encamped at West Point, New York. His service records show his name on the rolls of a couple of companies, under Capt Crocker and Capt John Hobby. In the "Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors" book, he is likely the Henry Wyman listed on a Worcester County account, dated 9/3/1781 by the selectman of Petersham, for the payment of bounties and mileage for men enlisted to serve the Continental Army for 3 years.

In 1818, Henry applied for a pension. He was living at that time in Madison, Maine, a farmer.

The location of the Jewett Cemetery, on Rt 43 in Madison. It is unclear to me where Henry and his family lived in town.

HENRY WYMAN, the son of the Rev William and Margaret (Holmes) Wyman, was born in Bedford, NH ca 1762. He died in Madison, Somerset, Maine on 17 July 1837. He had married, in Goffstown, NH on 21 Feb 1793, to SARAH TUTTLE. She was born ca 1770 in Goffstown, NH, and died 30 Sept 1856 [gravestone].

The following list of children comes from the pension papers of Henry, who were all living with him when the estate schedule was filed in Nov 1820. Years of birth calculated from their ages given on the pension document. Descendants not yet researched, except for Sarah (my 5th great-grandmother)
