Welcome...
It all started as a 6th grade project back in 1980 - to create a family tree. Over three decades have now passed, and that "project" still continues! This site is an attempt to try and centralize my research. Between my several family trees on Ancestry, my numerous memorial entries on Find a Grave, as well as dozens of file folders and binders full of collected data, my genealogical information is spread out every where! Perhaps, by putting my ancestral families together on a website, these many years of work can help me connect to other cousins and researchers out there.
2023
Weebly/Square no longer allows free account pages to be published using a custom domain (MyNewEnglandAncestors.com), so I needed to revert back to a subdomain in order to keep this website online. This site was begun as mynewenglandancestors.weebly.com, but I was unable to use this for some reason (I will call customer support). It is now under newenglandancestors.weebly.com for the time being. I still have the domain name www.MyNewEnglandAncestors.com, which is forwarded to this site.

Blogging in 2022
With this year being the 375th Anniversary of Kittery, Maine being incorporated, I think I will concentrate on my ancestors from this town, especially those who were among the first settlers.

...and just like that, 2020 was over. Considering the circumstances, one would think the year had dragged along, but all was busy here, working on other websites and refiling/backing up all of my cemetery photos and scans of old family photos. Been working on the Lovell Shattuck family for some time, so this will be my first posting of the New Year. |

Blogging in 2018
Seeing other weekly blog challenges going on in the genealogy community, I decided to do the same, and challenged myself to post an entry each week about one of my ancestors. I have moved all of the prompts from this main page, to make room for 2019, and have placed them all in a single blog post, with the link below.
